Get started with Riachu
A practical guide to reading commands, checking Discord permissions and diagnosing missing results. Command examples below come from the loaded registry.

1. Confirm the bot and server
Ask the support community for the official bot invitation if you do not already have Riachu in your server. Review the requested Discord permissions before authorizing it. This website is a command reference, not a server configuration dashboard.
2. Read the command signature
Open the command explorer and select a registry category. Required arguments use angle brackets; optional arguments use square brackets. Commands and descriptions are supplied by the bot in English, while this guide follows your selected language. Check Discord's own command picker for invocation availability.
3. Check both sets of permissions
A command may require permissions from both you and the bot. Compare the caller and bot permission fields below with the server roles and channel overrides. For moderation actions, also check Discord role hierarchy. Do not grant Administrator simply to bypass a missing permission.
4. Check where the command runs
Server-only commands cannot run in direct messages; DM-only and owner-only restrictions also matter. A gated module must be enabled for its command to answer. A registry module folder and a command's gated modules are different fields: do not assume their names match.
5. Troubleshoot missing commands
The website caches the API registry for an hour and falls back to a checked-in snapshot when live data cannot be loaded. A missing command here is not proof that the bot is offline. Check the registry source on Status, then send support the command name, context and error message—never API keys or account tokens.
